CRAFTFAIR 13 call for participants
The Lewis Glucksman Gallery will host is annual Craft Fair from Friday 8 November - Sunday 10 November 2013.
Craft artists interested in participating are invited to submit an application by post marked for the attention of Catherine McEntee,
Lewis Glucksman Gallery, UCC, Cork or by email to [email protected] no later than Sunday 7 July 2013.

Craft Fair 13 applications should consist of:
• A completed application form
• Images of the crafts, plus one image for press related purposes
• Provisional inventory with a description of crafts for sale to include retail prices

This is an open invitation for craftspeople, artists and illustrators whose work uses books or illustration either as a material, inspiration or both. We are looking for both 3D and 2D pieces and all work will be for sale.

community of Bristol.

Candid Arts Trust invites you to apply for exhibition space in our next exhibition. We are holding a three day exhibition which will combine all creative disciplines including photography, print, painting, sculpture, film, video and mixed media. The exhibition will take place at Candid Galleries in Angel on 22nd to 24th March.

Each exhibitor will be allocated 5sqm of wall space or floor space (2.5m x 2m) and will receive 50 private view invitations to distribute to their contacts. Please note the gallery takes a commission of 35% on any sales.
HOW TO APPLY
To apply, please email your updated CV together with up to five recent examples of your work (in JPEG format, 72 dpi, max. 1MB) to [email protected]. All images submitted should be clearly marked with the artist's name, title of the work, size and the year it was produced and you should include a description of the medium used as well as a personal statement.
Please note that all successful artists will be required to pay an admin fee of £60.

£1500 YOUNG ARTIST SCHOLARSHIP 2013
National Eisteddfod of Wales
The Young Artist Scholarship of £1,500 will be awarded to the most promising candidate to enable him/her to pursue a course in a recognised school or college of art and design or to attend master classes. The scholarship is open to any person under 25 years at the time of the Eisteddfod (2 August 2013), who were born in Wales or of Welsh parentage, or who has lived or worked in Wales for the three years prior to 2 August 2013, or able to speak or write the Welsh language. Short-listed candiadates will be expected to produce a portfolio of work and submit a letter of application describing how the scholarship will be put to use. The work submitted may be displayed in the Visual Arts Exhibition at the National Eisteddfod of Wales.
The successful candidate may also be offered space at the following Eisteddfod's Visual Arts Exhibition to display his/her work.
